Lily dipped to a crouch, her eyes a glow with excitement and and love. She’d been out for the past few hours, gathering the plants in the forest surrounding her home, not close enough that if anyone found her they’d know where she lived, but not far enough that she had to worry. Her fingers reached out, gently caressing the silver leaves, muttering an incantation to pull the leaves harmlessly from the stems, the wounds healing over soon as they were caused. She only took a few, never over harvesting one plant, knowing it needed its leaves to grow and live.
A small hum came from her throat, amused, content. Rather happy in the fact this far south the snows hadn’t come to wipe out the plant life or cause any disasters to befall her lovely flora. Glancing up, she noted the murder near by, watching her with curiosity and a somewhat protective glint. It had taken months to earn their trust, and minutes to cast the spell, bringing them to her aid when she needed them and keeping them near by.
“Such lovely creatures.” She whispered, beckoning the lead crow down to perch on her leather bound arm. “Tell the others to circle, see if there is anything of interest, and keep an eye for peace bloom. I have need of it for my studies.” She reached a hand up, stroking the bird’s head before sending him back up into the canopy above, smiling gently.

Demill would roam around the forest, scaling trees, hunting animals, however, he does stop when he finds some plants of interest, looking over he gently places down a few expertly hunted down rabbits and squirrels to find an…Odd plant. It had massive thorns and leaves, but the strangest part of the plant is it’s large mouth-like bud at the top, it looks closed.
A small smirk forms under the worgen’s mask, he would raise one of his claws to tap his chin. Remembering all the times Lilly talk about plants and how she love the weird ones, it might be the perfect gift to give! Assuming…He could actually collect the plant. Eyeing the plant, Demill would sniff and move around the plant in curiosity, attempting to find the best way to grab to plant without damaging it. Finding a good place to dig, He begins to dig up the plant, making sure to leave an ample amount of dirt and not to tear any leaf or part of the roots as he finally up roots the plant, smilling at his success. He looks up to see the murder.
“….Huh.” He enjoys the sight of crows, black as night, soft feathers. The fact that when there is a group of them it’s called a damned murder. The worgen smirked under that thought. “A murder of crows. flying who knows where to do who knows what.” He chuckles lightly then looking at the uprooted plant. “…I really should get a pot and some more dirt before you die..” After looking back up, his eyes widen as the murder turns. He wouldn’t be so surprised if it wasn’t the fact that they are actually going immediately back where they came.
Demill doesn’t know much about birds, but he doesn’t think they normally do that. He follows them as fast as he could without harming the current plant life in his hands, though not so much caring if one of it’s thorns try to prick his arms.
Lillian had been standing watching the crows as they moved, she turned to move back on her own way, snapping her ears and head up as a cacophony of caws went up from the murder.
“What is it, my pretties?” She growled low in her throat, that calm orange gaze glowing with anger. Who was coming for her now?
It took only a moment, the woman had become worgen, and the worgen in turn shifted into the massive cat, crawling on her stomach to the bushes, laying low, watching the crows until someone dashed into the clearing she had previously been in. The crows lit on the branches above the worgen, watching the man, if he attempted to leave the clearing, they’d flock to block him, and wait. They knew what she wanted from them.
The feline grinned, keeping the bushes for cover as she shifted. She’d slip out, smiling kindly, laughing softly.
“Followin’ the birds then, luv?” She’d say softly, stooping just long enough to grab her bag from the bushes. “I didn’ know you were about, I’d have asked you to help me with my gathering again.” She’d turn her orange gaze towards him, raising a furry brow.

Demill would slide to a stop as sees Lillian, smiling brightly, listening “Hey, luv! Speaking of gathering I got you this!” He chuckles nervously as he holds up the now partially damaged plant “Got ah… Got a pot?” He asks, chuckling lightly in is own idiocy.
His eyes would linger around the forest areas, noting how the crows just perched there, watching them as the two talked “Are they yours?” he asks, tilting his head. He has seen powerful druids controlling various animals before, he had know idea that harvest witches could do the same thing.
Demill would look back at Lillian “In any case… How are you? I’ve not seen your in quite awhile!” He says with a small smile forming under his mask. “Sorry I didn’t send a postcard, to be honest I wasn’t expecting you here, I just saw an oddity from the murder and I thought I should check it out.”
Lilly smiled quietly, shifting her robes so they weren’t ruffling or pinching her fur. She looked up at him chuckling quietly. “It’s lovely, luv.” She’d clear the distance between them, turning her head to press her muzzle gently to his, before reaching to delicately take the plant eyeing it over.
“A lovely specimen, usually you don’t find these sorts of plants this far North.” She’d cradle the plant in one hand, touching the damaged leaves and petals. The bruised and battered plant parts would shift, healing back to a pristine condition. “All better” She’d coo to the plant, grinning widely before looking back up to Demill.
“The crows are free to come and go as they please, I do not claim ownership of them. We’ve created a symbiotic relationship. I feed them, they keep me company during my time in the forest. You seem to have caught their interest, I had only just asked them to go search for any threats. Though I take it they know you’re not a threat.”
A wolfish grin was flashed his way, one eye closing in a quick wink as she’d lean into him lightly, staring up quietly as he spoke again.
“Its quite alright, I was wondering when our paths would cross again, its been quite some time. You seem well though, no new limbs missing I hope.” She’d reach over, rubbing his arms lightly, a bit of concern showing.
Demill smiles, nuzzling his muzzle against her own in kind. Moving his arms to gently hug Lilly. looking at the plant interestingly “Oh good so I’m not in trouble.” He exhales, while he himself hasn’t seen her mad at him for any for harming any form of plant life, he knows just how annoyed druids can get when plant life is ruined. Thus tries to avoid doing so when around any.
“I see, interesting, though I wouldn’t know how to do any of that myself…” He examines the crows, smiling lightly as he moves to gently wrap his arms around Lilly, resting his chin against her head “No, no missing limbs, this time I know that if I do have missing limbs, I go to you first.” He smiles softly “Though, I think I could use a check up… My limbs have been extra stiff this month and you’re the only one I would trust to check.” He smiles, patting her arms reassuringly. His would roll his shoulders very lightly and stretch his knees, causing a bit of pops to occur while he does so.
The smile grew lightly, as she nuzzled into him, humming quietly.
“You forget my profession, I’m a healer of all, I can heal most any injury.” She’d raise a hand, running the leathery pad along his face, keeping the plant safe. “You’re not going to get into trouble with me.”
She’d lean into him, letting him wrap her in his embrace, staring at the plant in her hand once more, humming quietly. “Mmm, I think I can give you a once over, give you some herbs, but we’ll need to go back to my house. I hope you won’t mind a bit of a mess, I’ve not had time to tidy up in preparation of company.”
Demill smiles under his mask “Ahh I’m pretty sure if I had a house I’d be messy too,” He shrugs “No big deal.”
He would smile, nuzzling his head against her hand “I doubted that you would be mad. But I’ve seen druids be angry at every little spec of life hampered with, it kinda makes me on my toes around them. Obviously I know you’re a harvest witch but.. You do tend to remind me of druids.” He shrugs as he nuzzles gently against Lilly.
“Not that it’s a bad thing. Just my own thought process.” He assured as he moves to very gently pick up Lilly bridal style, walking forward as he does so. “So…Where’s your house again?” He asks, looking around to find the house.
The female would smile, draping her arm around his neck, careful to cradle the plant in her other hand.
“I’m not a druid, love. I rarely require the animal forms, though obviously trained. I prefer my human, or even worgen when necessary.” She’d blink slowly, watching as the crows began to hop, from tree to tree, following the pair, humming quietly.
“One second love, it seems my avian friends have something else on their minds.” She’d wave her clawed hand, the largest, once more separating from the group and lighting upon her arm. She’d stare into its eyes, a quick flash as she made her will known, and the bird would fly off, cawing loudly as the murder took flight behind, him, circling upon thermals to get above the trees.
Again she’d smile up at Demill, shifting her arm back around his neck.
“You’re headed in the right direction, listen for the babble of the brook, and watch for where the dusk of Duskwood begins to creep into Ellwynn. I live on the border, not too far from here, and I could honestly walk.” She’d laugh lightly, raising a furry brow at him, rather amused.
Demill looks at the large crow, watching it fly off into the distance along with the other crows leave the area. He would smile back at Lilly.
“What’s the fun of that? Carrying you is much more romantic than simply letting you walk. Oh….And exactly how did the crows know I’m not a threat in the first place?” He teases, gently pressing his masked nose gently on her own as he begins to walk towards the right direction.
After a small while of carrying, nuzzling, and other things, the two finally arrived at the house, Demill would whistle “Nice place!” He smiles brightly at Lilly. Finally placing her feet down onto the floor with a small smile under his mask. “There, happy?” He teased again with a wink.
Lilly would smirk softly as he asked his question.
“Obviously they know something, or they would have attempted to chase you off. I did not inform them, so I don’t know how they knew you were not a threat.” She’d relent in his wanting to carry her, leaning into him, and merely accepting the ride through the forest, closing her eyes as she hummed softly. Only stopping to answer a question, or press her nose against his neck gently.
She was thankful when they arrived at her cabin, not a big place, having only one room the den, and a small one person kitchen, but it was enough for her to call home.
“Ah, it isn’t much, but it allows me to do what I need.” She’d smile up at him, confidently as she leaned up to press her nose to his masked cheek, before stepping forward. The most notable part of the whole cabin, was the plants sitting out along the sides, plants in pots, bushes planted in patches of soil, grass kept from growing too near. There was a small garden, not far from the stream she lived near, vegetable bearing plants growing along rows.
The most peculiar of all her plants would be a large oak, obviously very old, though younger looking branches seemed to have been transplanted into the trunk, fruits growing off these branches, apples from one, cherries from another. Even some oranges were poking through their leaves.
She moved with practiced grace towards the door, glancing to the roof before entering, and leaving the door open. Inside was cluttered, stacks of books along one wall, shoved up around and behind a couch, each seemed to be about plants, animals, or medicine. There were three small tables, dispersed through out the room, each bearing several potted plants, ranging from wicked looking vines to soft delicate flowers, each thriving and growing strong. On a bench in the small dining room, very easily viewed from the entrance was all sorts of tools, pots, and bags of clippings and seeds awaiting their times to be planted into one of several starter trays.
“Please, come in and make yourself at home. I’m just going to get this dear in a pot and watered, then we can sit and I’ll take a look at you.” She’d smile politely, making her way to the bench to do just that.
Demill looks around and smiles, slowly removing his mask and good, moving his ears as he shakes his head “Alright luv! I’ll do just that.”
Of course he’s not rude, but he does comfortable, he gently sits on a nearby empty stool, eyes roaming around every nook and cranny given in view of this place, he would grab a nearby book about plants, after turning a few pages, he would raise a furry brow and scratches one of his heavily scarred cheeks, clearly got lost in all the plants and what they do, especially in the scientific names. “Why the hell did they need to name these things so weird and hard to say..”
He closed the book and puts it away, leaning forward to place his elbows on the table to patiently wait for Lilly to return for his check up.
Lilly laughed lightly as she piled soil in around the roots of her new specimen, listening to him complain about the names.
“The scientific names describe the plants and make it easier to identify. You don’t need to know them unless you’re looking to study them.” She’d laugh lightly, stepping around the corner with the freshly potted plant in hand.
She would set it on a table among other carnivorous looking plants a few similar to the one he’d brought her.
“Now what seems to be wrong?” She’d ask turning to look at him, leaning back against the table easily, staring at him softly.
Demill turns to Lilly with a smile, but looks at his legs “I think it’s my knees, but my entire legs feel the affect. They feel tense and hard to move like of they’re bricks. . I think I overworked them at one point. I tried resting for a couple of days. But that didn’t work out.”
He would flex and stretch his legs, causing them to pop and crackle a bit, he would wince at the noise “I just think that I’m supposed to make that noise.” He looks back up “Think you can help me with it?” He asks, rubbing his legs softly to ease the minor pain.
She’d murmur quietly, sweeping in closer with a practiced grace. Upon reaching his side, she’d slowly lower to the ground, plopping on her ass and reaching up to rest her hands on his thighs.
“Of course I can help, though I need some more information. Does it happen often? Where are the pops coming from? Is there pain when it happens, or just noise?”
Her head would cock to one side, her ears perking forward as she stared at him. Waiting for a response.
